Shipping & Refund Policies

We have scoured the globe for the best products available relating to Thai medicine. Because of the specialty nature of our products, many are not returnable. Please read our policies below carefully.

Shipping

Please have patience when you order from TaoMountain. This is a small business operated by one person. I have no employees. I use on-demand printers and drop-shippers for fulfillment of all orders, and your items are likely to ship separately from different locations across the US and abroad. All items are sent via US Mail as soon as possible from each supplier. These packages usually arrive within 7-10 days of your order, but sometimes may take a bit longer (particularly if the item is coming from Thailand). We ask that you please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery of your entire order, and be patient with our suppliers' schedules. If you need express delivery, please contact us before placing your order to ensure we can meet your schedule.

International Orders

We will ship to any country via the United States Postal service. However, please note that we cannot be responsible for knowing the customs regulations of every country on Earth. It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure that ordered products do not violate local customs laws. The buyer is solely responsible for items confiscated by customs or otherwise undeliverable. If you require a private courier such as FederalExpress or any other special services for your package, we can usually do this, but please send us an email prior to ordering to confirm pricing and availability.

Returns & Refunds

We will issue refunds for any defective products or shipping mistakes. Items must be shipped back to us in pristine condition (with all packing materials), and shipping both ways will be reimbursed.

The following items are non-refundable:

• We will not offer partial refunds for individual items which were sold as a package.
  
• Electronic media such as DVDs, CD-ROMs, audio CDs, etc., can not be returned once opened.
  
• Any item special ordered for you from Thailand is non-refundable.
  
• Because of hygiene concerns, no herbs are refundable.
  
• Our Academic Packages are non-refundable. We pay copyright fees to a wide range of academic publishers each time a packet is produced, and once printed, these fees can not be recovered.
